From the very beginning, we knew the theme of this book would be The Process. It was important to us that this first volume reflects not just how images are made — the gear, the technique, the rituals — but also why we make them. We wanted to explore the emotional and personal layers of artistic practice: how creating can be both a coping mechanism and a form of resistance. In a world that often feels like it’s unraveling, turning to art is sometimes the only way to stay grounded — or to fight back. We’re living through times that feel impossible to make sense of. And yet, people keep making. Keep photographing, writing, painting. Not because it fixes anything, but because sometimes, it’s the only way through.
